Summary

Lead and coordinate the implementation and evolution of the IPP (Integrated Project Portfolio Management) model within the Global IT PMO, ensuring effective portfolio management across Arca Continental. Promote standardization, strategic alignment, and collaboration with local and global teams, acting as a methodological reference and operational facilitator.

 

Core responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the corporate governance model, frameworks, tools, and indicators for managing ideation, demand, projects, resources, and benefits across five countries, ensuring standardization and continuous evolution.
  • Coordinate and monitor the planning, execution, and delivery processes, together with local PMOs, for more than 300 related projects, programs, and portfolios, ensuring that established practices, objectives, and timelines are met.
  • Verify performance and the mitigation of issues and risks through follow-up routines, audits, health checks, and feedback sessions to ensure effective identification and mitigation. Additionally, verify the closure of projects, programs, and portfolios by evaluating whether objectives have been achieved.
  • Develop the skills and competencies required to operate the IPP model for more than 250 people in predictive and/or agile frameworks and project management tools, providing methodological support, ongoing training, and structured feedback to local PMOs and global project teams, promoting continuous improvement and adoption of the model, and addressing operational incidents.
  • Monitor performance and benefits by consolidating key information, tracking KPIs, conducting audits and health checks, and ensuring proper documentation and closure of projects.

 

Qualifications and requirements 

  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and self-management skills.
  • Over 3 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master applying best practices.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Project Server, ServiceNow, or similar and skilled in data analysis tools such as Excel and/or Power BI.
  • PMP certified or ready to certify, and certified Scrum Master.
  • Advanced English and availability to travel.

 

Desired characteristics 

  • Experience managing a Project Management Office (PMO) and end-to-end practices for projects, programs, portfolios, and resources.
  • Project management in collaboration with leading consulting firms such as IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, among others, and background in SAP or similar implementations, infrastructure projects, and/or web development.
  • Management of intercultural projects in companies of similar size and/or with a global presence.
